Welcome to the www.BattieriesByTomDeF.com battery store.  This online store started out as a way to help a local community theater obtain access to quality batteries for wireless microphones at good prices.  As other sound operators, theater and church groups heard about this, my list of clients and sales grew.  I have lots of batteries and would be glad to sell some to your organization as well.

Which batteries & Sizes?

There are lots of different types and sizes of batteries used for a multitude of purposes.  The focus here is on those used most often in professional quality wireless microphones for live sound, theater and church environments. 

The list of batteries carried here is driven by requests from buyers.  Based on that input, the favorite brand for wireless microphones is Duracell ProCell alkaline battery.  The most used battery sizes are 9-Volt, AA and AAA.  So those are the batteries that you’ll find stocked here.

Of course, if you’d like to use these batteries for some purpose other than wireless microphones, that’s OK also.  People tell me that they have purchased batteries here for toy race cars, TV remotes, thermostats, smoke detectors and many, many other things.

All batteries sold here are brand new and carry expiration dates of 2014 or later.

By the Box or by the Case

These batteries are offered for sale by the box or by the case (3 boxes).  The chart at the right shows the quantity of batteries of each type that are found in a box or a case.

Prices

These prices are for Duracell ProCell batteries, the ‘professional’, next-level-up version of the regular Duracell batteries.  Duracell ProCells are not often found in retail stores.

Sales Tax

The collection of 8% New York state sales tax is required unless either:

• The purchase is shipped to an address which is outside NY state, or
• The purchase is made by a tax-exempt organization with a copy of the appropriate tax exemption form.

Also, per NY tax rules, If there is a shipping the sales tax also applies to that.  (Please don’t shoot the messenger.  I don’t make the rules).

Delivery

All prices are for delivery in Endicott NY.  If you are located in a nearby town, consider meeting me in Endicott to complete the sale.  If that is not possible, your purchase of any size can be shipped to any address in the US for a flat rate of $7.00.

If you need only a box or two at a time, it’s probably not worth the charge to ship them to you.  But if you pool your needs with another sound company, theater or church, the larger order be spread over more batteries and result in a lower shipping charge on a per battery basis.

Shipping

Your battery order will normally be shipped out within 3-4 business days after payment is received.  Orders are shipped by USPS Priority Mail.

Accessories

We are also pleased to offer a digital battery tester for sale.  If you are serious about getting the most bang for your buck, this tester will save you money in the long run by telling you when batteries can be reused instead of being replaced.
